The Renaissance Festival is JUST around the Corner!!!

The Renaissance Festival is coming up.  I don't know exactly when, but last year it occurred at the beginning of October.

The very first person we came upon was this lady.  We bought some of her Baklava.

As we walked the details in these people's costumes were amazing!

These people seemed to be having a good time...

This lady gave us some information about the festival.  She told us there was going to be a sword fight!

I was happy to see kids having fun too!

On the way to the fight there was lots of cool equiptment and weaponery

While we were waiting for the knights to start fighting, there was a baby walking around the arena.

I think she belonged to this lady.

And I think this lady's husband was one of the knights...

They are awaiting the performance!

The fight was exciting!

and now the day ends...sad times

The Civil War Reenactment is coming!!!

Last year my family and I attended the Civil War Reenactment.  I got some good pictures and had a TON of FUN!  Everyone should go this year! I thing it's on the 28-30 of October this year.

Below are some of the pictures that I took at the event.

This kid was cool! These people come from all over the nation to reenact in Las Vegas.

This guy had his own set up to bend and mold metal.  He was a black smith!

And this guy was a barber!  It was so cool to see someone get their face shaved.  I wonder if it's a closer shave using that kind of a blade or a razor.

The scenery was so pretty...

This lady had her own tent.  I think she had cheese and cookies and dried fruit to sample.

This is my mom!

This lady's family had the greatest costumes!  I wanted one, and they were selling some at the event!  They would make for great Halloween costumes.

This is another lady that had a great costume.  She was breathtaking.

This was an image taken at the North's camp ground.

This was an image found at the South's campground.

I was able to catch up with President Lincoln on his way to the WAR.

This lady rode her horse around the arena where the war was to take place.

The South went down pretty quickly.

I guess the North didn't want to put up with their hollabaloo...haha

Executive Portraits

In honor of Labor Day I have decided to post these Executive Portraits!  The first two are of my aunt Anne.  She works in the Real Estate business.

These next four are of my sisters boyfriend.  He's trying to start his own supplement business.  He was a body builder and worked at Gold's Gym before deciding to branch off on his own.  I took a couple of product photos also.  You should check out his website! It is http://www.wisenutrition.net/

I liked his black and white pictures.  I thought he had this classic look.
